Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Beauty Therapist for their Cradlestone shop in Krugersdorp. You will be responsible for raising knowledge that Dis-Chem provides a variety of skincare and body treatments in its Beauty Salons. You will be responsible for ensuring good client liaison and care while performing treatments.
Job Description:
- Offer customers a good salon experience.
- Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures in accordance with Dis-Chem guidelines.
- Report on and provide feedback to consumers’ questions, concerns, and compliments.
- Keep up with new products, treatments, and service approaches.
- Manage supply levels according on Dis-Chem Salon’s demands.
- Ensure that all required equipment is operable and clean at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- 2 years of applicable national or international certificate or diploma in beauty therapy.
- Minimum of 12 months of technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon setting.
- Computer literate
- Good numerical skills
- Willing and capable of working retail hours
Advantageous:
- 3-year appropriate National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
- Minimum of three years of technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon setting.
Competencies:
Essential:
- General knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for skin/body therapies.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
- Be a team player and maintain strong customer interactions.
- Be deadline and target-driven.
Advantageous:
- Soft laser and Bio-Magnetic, microdermabrasion, slimming, spray tanning
- Bilingual instruction for any salon equipment, including lasers.
Special conditions of employment:
- Willing and capable of working retail hours
- Willing and capable of traveling to and from the store.
- Fit and capable of performing massage, facial, and body treatments.
- South African citizen.
- Clear credit and criminal records.
