The Pricing Administrator will be in charge of reviewing and analyzing pricing, master data, financial statements, expenditures, and acquisitions, as well as developing and implementing organization-wide continuous improvement programs.

Minimum Requirements

Education
  • Degree or pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or economics (NQF Level 7).
  • Honours Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (NQF Level 8) (Advantageous).

Knowledge:
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pricing methods, policies, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain pricing techniques that support the overall company goals.
  • Provide feedback on all existing pricing policies, processes, and procedures to promote continual development within the business unit/company.
  • Provide input on menu pricing for budget objectives in accordance with supply chain strategy.
Operational management
  • Respond to and address all concerns or discrepancies promptly, and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure the delivery and timely availability of product information (delivery Chain, Casas, Inventory Management System, etc.).
  • Evaluate pricing strategies for profitability.
  • Create measuring tools for market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Respond to management’s ad hoc needs.
Pricing, Financial Analysis, and Reporting
  • Respond to and report on all inquiries and discrepancies received; recommend/implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Compile, prepare, and submit monthly market comparison reports after precisely capturing important data.
  • Update, track, and report on supplier pricing projections monthly.
  • Monitor and report pricing data based on industry norms, sales patterns, and rivals.
  • Resolve pricing problems and take appropriate action promptly.
  • Reconcile, consolidate, and analyze financial data and reports (income statements, balance sheets, expenditure, etc.) to report on trends, inconsistencies, market performance, and offer efforts for ongoing improvement.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, IT, and Marketing departments to guarantee smooth new business processing operations.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Follow company standards, policies, governance, and compliance rules and regulations.
  • Comply with all regulatory frameworks, such as the Competition Act and Anti-corruption and Bribery Act.
  • Strive for an ethical team atmosphere.
