Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is looking for a brand manager to join their team. The primary goal of this function will be to drive brand growth inside an organization while also ensuring that the products, services, and product lines associated with their brand resonate with current and potential customers.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Matric or Grade 12
- 5-8 years of expertise in marketing and brand management.
- Diploma or degree in marketing, business administration, or comparable field.
- Experience with retail, promotions, sales, stock management, and reporting.
Advantage:
- Previous management experience within retail environment.
Job Specification
Strategy:
- Implement industry-standard sales and brand tactics at the shop level.
- Adhere to industry legislation while designing and implementing initiatives.
- Regularly analyze brand strategy to evaluate performance and make necessary improvements to improve sales.
- Champion the brand internally, ensuring all employees understand its aims.
- Ensure successful product advertising.
- Conduct market research to identify current customer trends and forecast future trends.
- Analyze marketing campaign success and generate reports.
- Review financial performance reports, monitor budget variances, and follow established procedures to take corrective action as needed
Stock Control:
- Maintain stock levels and sales to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Recommend store orders based on historical sales data and forecasted demand.
- Maintaining stock levels within store targets, including promotions.
Branding:
- Manage all branding materials, maintain them, store them, and keep them in order indoors and outdoors.
- Create style standards, brand guidelines, vision, and value proposition for both short and long term.
- Create consistent in-store signage programs and messages.
Product Launch:
- Present internal and external presentations on new products, marketing materials, corporate objectives, and communication strategy.
- Maintain distributor and supplier relationships.
- Manage promotional collateral to build and maintain product branding.
Select, order, and distribute promotional and informational items.
