Requirements:

  • At least Grade 12 or NQF 4
  • Administrative and supply chain management skills will be of additional use.
  • Possessing a valid driver’s license and being proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • The selected applicant will be responsible for administrative tasks at the Chief Director’s office, including gathering, classifying, and publishing quotes based on the supply chain management’s RFQ list.

  • They will also create a price schedule and quotation spreadsheet.

  • Electronic document capturing.

  • Filing documentation for stakeholders and GDoH Directorates outside the District, as well as acquiring office supplies and equipment.

  • Generate monthly reports and define OLA processes in accordance with SCM requirements.

  • Skills include time management and organizational talents.

  • Proficient in written communication and documentation, minute taking, record keeping, interpersonal relations, phone etiquette, professional etiquette, computer proficiency, and knowledge of the Microsoft suite (MS Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams), among other things. Furthermore, the ability to preserve concealment.

  • Understanding of record keeping and information classification.

  • The ability to function under hardship.

  • Familiarity with the public sector’s legislation, such as the Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulation, Public Finance Management Act, and Preferential Policy Framework Act.
