The Santam Graduate Programme lasts 24 months and provides you with a systematic transition from education to work life. This thorough program combines formal training with on-the-job training to ensure you are well-prepared for the exciting challenges ahead.

What you may expect from the Santam Graduate Programme is as follows:
- Customized Onboarding: We will introduce you to Santam and set you up for success during your first 100 days. You’ll begin your 24-month adventure with a series of certified learning modules that cover key topics.
- Santam Core Competencies: We are dedicated to developing core competencies in our employees, such as teamwork, innovation, client focus, a results-driven attitude, and resilience. These skills will be necessary for future problems.
- FutureFit skills: In addition to fundamental skills, we prioritize the development of future-oriented leadership qualities and attributes like creativity, analytical thinking, resilience, adaptability to uncertainty, complexity, and digital proficiency.
- Specialty: You’ll have access to areas of specialty relevant to your future role, allowing you to hone your leadership skills.
- Electives: Gain experience in technical areas of specialization in short-term insurance that will be essential for your future career. While working on business-informed learning projects, you will be supported by subject matter experts and one-on-one coaching.
Who Should Submit an Application?
Santam is looking for great young talent aged 22 to 30 who are hungry to make a difference. Applicants must have the following qualifications to be considered:
- Work experience of less than one year.
- Insurance, Risk Management, Law, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Industrial/Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Knowledge Management, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Reporting, IT, IT Audit, Data Analytics, Management, or Informatics are all acceptable.
- Post-graduate degrees (Honours) are also acceptable.
