Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an amazing position in our Special Events Department. We are searching for outstanding candidates with suitable abilities and experience for a Special Events Driver position in Pretoria West. Successful candidates will report directly to the Team Leader: Special events. Drive, operate, and maintain roadshow and delivery trucks. Playing various music genres with a grasp of market fit, as well as stock delivery and collection. Assist with the implementation of event branding and equipment activations in accordance with best practices. Fulfill roles and responsibilities in accordance with planned daily schedules, provide great customer service, and represent CCBSA in the public realm.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the clearance of daily controls.
- Assist with the coordination of all special events in the relevant Sales Area.
- Assist with event activation.
- Assist with event setup.
- Help with the organization of daily activities for exceptional events.
- Assist with the management and upkeep of special event assets.
- Help with ad hoc deliveries and other operations.
- Drive unique event vehicles.
- Demonstrates basic verbal competency, customer orientation, observance, basic calculation skills, and initiative.
- Personal growth, memory, hand-eye coordination, knowledge application, product knowledge, and safety policies.
Skills, Experience & Education
- Matric with 2 years of FMCG driving experience, including at least 6 months in a supervisory role, and
- A professional driving permit.
- Requirements for event activation include a code EC license,
- A valid medical certificate,
- A criminal and credit check, and relevant experience.
