Job Description

Absa Home Loans Collections is dedicated to providing learnership opportunities to young people who are talented, energetic, and have a strong desire to use technology to empower clients. This one-year Absa Home Loans Learnership program combines classroom training with on-the-job experience in all elements of client interaction. As a learner, you’ll need to demonstrate:

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy. These people should do well under pressure.
  • A self-starter with a hands-on approach.

The learnership curriculum will provide you with 12 months of exposure to the Home Loans Collections sectors. Successful candidates must commit to completing all academic modules and on-the-job training.

Essential Requirements

Candidate should be between 18-30 years old. Applicant must include a full CV with contact information and references.

  • Applicants must provide copies of their certificates, identity cards, and evidence of address.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens or permanent residents.
  • Applicants must have a degree or equivalent NQF level 7 certification.
    English proficiency is required.
  • Applicant must not be employed. Applicant must not be registered with any other learnership at the time of application.
  • Applicant must not be currently enrolled in any learning institute.
  • Requirements include computer literacy, teamwork, self-motivation, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and work.

Duration

  • The learnership program lasts 12 months.
  • To graduate, candidates must be available for the entire duration.

Completion of Learnership

  • Candidates who successfully complete the learnership will receive a level 5 NQF Certificate in Banking.
  • Get ongoing coaching and training to advance your personal and professional development.

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the learnership period.
