Requirements :
Grade 10/12 with 3–5 years of driving experience.
A valid code 10 (C) driver’s license with PDP (will renew at own expense).
Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) Act, Batho Pele Principles, and government fleet and transportation policy, will be advantageous.
Ability to complete routine chores.
Capability to perform under pressure.
Good interpersonal relations.
Effective communication and human relations skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver clean linen and collect soiled linen from hospitals and clinics.
Counting linen bags before uploading and offloading in the presence of supervisors.
Delivering food to client hospitals.
Vehicle inspection before and after each journey.
Notify the Transport Officer of any defaults.
Ensure that vehicles are fumigated before and after each delivery.
