Requirements :
- NQF Level 2, Grade 10, or an equivalent qualification. Food service expertise in a clinical/hospital setting will be advantageous.
- EPWP/interns will be given priority.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Be willing to work in a team and in tough situations.
- Must be available to work weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.
- Diversity and equity in the workplace will be carefully explored, particularly in terms of race, gender, and disability.
Duties:
- Preparation of normal and therapeutic diets using standardized recipes.
- Meal portioning based on ration scale and prescription.
- Implement hygiene and safety procedures in the factory in accordance with HACCP and OHS regulations.
- Lifting large foodservice equipment.
- Take responsibility for all resources that have been allocated.
- Be able to relieve in all parts of the CookFreeze facility as needed.
- Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and development programs.
